💕 Who Are We?

We're Pastel Rosii, a small Canadian biz run by two high school sweethearts with a shared passion for mental health advocacy and mutual weirdness. Based in Ontario, we’re parents of two wild and wonderful kiddos, and we started this shop as a way to help others feel a little less alone in their struggles with anxiety, depression, and SH (self-harm).
Everything we create is made with love, lived experience, and lots of tea.

📦 Processing Times

PLEASE KEEP IN MIND:

We’re a two-human operation juggling work, parenting, and still occasionally remembering to feed ourselves. Here's what to expect:

  • Temporary Tattoos: 1-5 business days. Please note we can sometimes go over 10 business days if we have a social media post go wild - as explained above, we are a two person team and are always moving as fast as possible. All orders are printed on demand to cut down waste and reduce our environmental impact.

  • T-Shirts: Estimated 5-15 business days. Due to the changes for USA customers, we have switched to utilizing Printful for our t-shirts. As a result delivery timeframes will vary depending on Printful. This change is to help us avoid tariffs or large duties for our USA customers since their shirts should shop from a Printful location closest to them. Please note we do not control how long it takes for these items to arrive but if you have any questions please feel free to reach out. Since these are custom printed shirts they do not qualify for refunds. If the shipment becomes lost we will replace it. Thank you for understanding. 

🕒 All and all, our current processing window is 1–10 business days overall under normal circumstances. If things move quicker, we’ll ship early! If they don’t, we promise it’s not because we’re slacking—it’s just the life of being a small business, and we deeply appreciate your patience.

🇺🇸 Shipping to Our U.S. Friends

We ship all U.S. orders from our cozy little Canadian studio using ChitChats → USPS. Here’s what that means for you:

  • CUSMA Compliant: Everything we make is handmade right here in Canada. Thanks to the Canada–U.S.–Mexico Agreement, your package should clear U.S. Customs duty-free (yay for no surprise import taxes!).

  • Processing Time: Packages can take a little longer to cross the border than private couriers (roughly 6-13 business days), but this route helps keep shipping costs lower and avoids those dreaded “brokerage fee” knock-knocks.

  • Possible Fees: We package and declare your order properly to minimize the chance of extra fees. That said, once it’s with U.S. Customs, it’s out of our hands. If extra charges pop up (rare, but possible), they’re the customer’s responsibility. Additional fees you may see would be your state taxes added and a small processing fee (usually a few dollars.) 

We picked this shipping method because it’s the best balance of affordability + reliability—your order gets to travel safely through USPS without surprise courier bills at the door. 

💸 Cancellations, Refunds & Reshipments

We lovingly hand-make or print every item to order, so here’s our refund policy in a nutshell:

  • Refunds & cancellations are only accepted within 24-48 hours of placing your order. We print all your tattoos and apparel on demand. 

  • If your order has already started processing or has shipped, we can’t offer cancellations or refunds. Thanks for understanding!

  • If your package gets lost or delayed, don’t panic—we’ll help track it down or send you a replacement at no extra cost. Please note we will need to be informed of any lost packages within 72 hrs of said delivery for a reshipment to be made. If we are informed after this timeframe we will need to open a claim with the shipper and win the claim prior to reshipment.  

  • PLEASE NOTE: All Tshirt orders are printed ON DEMAND by Printful and therefore once shipped and processed they ✨CANNOT✨ be cancelled. We are a small business and cannot take responsibility for orders that are printed and not claimed or lost. In case of a lost shipment or damaged item(s), we will have to contact Printful on your behalf to get it reprinted and insured through their third party services. 

📮 Delayed or Lost Packages

We ship everything tracked, except packages to the US until further notice, but once it leaves our hands, it’s up to the mail goblins (aka ChitChats, USPS, etc.).

  • If your package is delayed or lost, reach out to us—we’ll help however we can. Please keep in mind shipping can be slow when moving from Canada to international locations.

  • Please note: we don’t have the bandwidth to track every single order in real time. If you spot something off in your tracking, let us know so we can help troubleshoot.

  • If your order is heading to the US, please give it 8-15 business days after you receive your shipment email to arrive to account for customs delays. We are doing the best we can despite the circumstances brought onto us by the Trump administration. 

🌍 Where Do We Ship?

Short answer: basically everywhere!
We offer $5 CAD flat-rate shipping WORLWIDE and FREE shipping on ALL orders over $50 CAD WORLDWIDE! TARIFF FREE!

We do not control shipping prices (we wish!), but we do try to get you the best rate possible. Amazon-level logistics? Not quite. But small-biz level care? You bet.

⚠️ Allergies + Skin Sensitivities

Our tattoo paper is latex-free and uses a skin-safe adhesive. That said, everyone’s skin is different.

  • Polly (our co-founder) has super sensitive skin and hasn’t had any issues.

  • We highly recommend doing a patch test with a small cut-off piece of tattoo paper (not the design itself!) before applying a full tattoo.

  • Not recommended for little ones under age 4.

👩🎨 Who Can Use Our Tattoos?

These tattoos are for ages 4+ and are designed to support:

  • Gentle self-expression

  • Mindful distraction

  • Conversations around mental health

  • And of course, a little splash of creativity

You don’t need to be in crisis to enjoy them—they’re for everyone who wants a little joy on their skin.

🎨 What Markers/Pencils Do You Recommend?

Please remember we have two lines of colour in tattoos

Any washable, nontoxic, skin-safe marker will do the trick for our Mindful Ink temporary tattoos. We kept accessibility in mind, so your local dollar store is probably stocked!

Polly loves ultra-fine tips for the tiny details, but you do you. Big, bold, scribbly? Also perfect.

🖊️ Does the ink get absorbed into my skin?
Nope! At no point are you actually colouring your skin. Our tattoos have a waterproof protective barrier that keeps the marker ink on the tattoo surface—not your body. Think of it like colouring on a tiny, wearable canvas. Your skin stays safe and ink-free while your tattoo gets all the artistic glory.

As for our newest addition Gentle Ink temporary tattoos, where you colour before applying, we recommend using pencil crayons/coloured pencils. This is so that you get the best quality and longevity out of your finished piece. Similar to our Mindful Ink line of temporary tattoos, Polly wanted to keep the medium needed for these affordable and accessible for all budgets. You do not need to go buy a big expensive set of pencil crayons/coloured pencils to make these beautiful. 

Does the lead from the pencils get absorbed into my skin?

Nope! It is actually a misconception that pencil crayons have lead in them. Modern pencil crayons are made up of a wax and oil materials and are non-toxic.
